Overview of Health Promotion

The Health Promotion team works closely with 13 local governments in the East Metropolitan Health Service catchment, covering a population of more than 725,000 residents.

These residents live in:

• City of Armadale
• City of Gosnells
• City of Canning
• City of Belmont
• Town of Victoria Park
• City of South Perth
• City of Perth
• Shire of Mundaring
• City of Kalamunda
• City of Swan
• Town of Bassendean
• City of Bayswater

Working closely with these local governments, the Health Promotion team has access to health and wellbeing demographic data that enables them to work with vulnerable populations at risk of particular health issues.
