Partnering with Consumers

Partnering with Consumers

We are committed to improving the patient experience across our hospitals and health services. A key component of this is working with consumers through our Consumer Advisory Committees, our various volunteer programs and through patient and consumer feedback.

If you are interested in partnering with us to provide patients with access to safe, high quality health care, the below pages provide more information about how you can get involved.

  • Consumer Advisory Committees Each of our hospitals has a Consumer Advisory Committees which provides an opportunity for consumers to participate in the development and delivery of hospital services.
  • Volunteering Our hospital volunteer programs provide an opportunity for the local community to help our patients.
  • Wool-lar Aboriginal Volunteer Program The EMHS Wool-lar Aboriginal Volunteer Program aims to empower individuals to provide cultural support to Aboriginal patients while in hospital in a volunteer capacity.
