Disability Access and Inclusion Plan
At EMHS, we are committed to fostering an environment where people with disability can fully participate and thrive. Our goal is to ensure everyone has equitable access to our:
- Services and events
- Buildings and facilities
- Information
- Quality customer services
- Complaints and feedback
- Public consultation
- Employment opportunities
While feeling valued and respected in all interactions with us.
EMHS' Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP), reflects our shared vision for inclusion and accessibility, combining efforts and building upon previous achievements under Royal Perth Bentley Group and Armadale Kalamunda Group's earlier DAIPs, and outlines steps we intend to take to create welcoming spaces and experiences for all.
This is a collective responsibility, where every staff member plays a role in advancing access and inclusion, not just as a requirement but as a core enabler in achieving our Vision and Values - Health people, amazing care/ koorda moort, moorditj kwabadak. The DAIP is an integral part of who we are and how we serve our community.
