The community in the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale play an important role in ensuring that the services and design of the Hub are suitable to local needs.
The BHH Community and Consumer Advisory Group and the BHH Aboriginal Advisory Group meet regularly and provide feedback on the Hub planning.
So far we have asked for input about the consumer experience such as booking systems, reception and waiting areas, support and facilities.
The Aboriginal Advisory Group provides advice on cultural considerations for the Hub planning and engaging the Aboriginal community.

A special art exhibition by students provided an opportunity to engage with younger residents of Byford.
Students in year 9 and 10 from Byford Secondary College and Salvado Catholic College explored their perspectives on the identity of Byford and what health means to them.
Working with artist Olivia Robinson, they experimented with a range of mixed media techniques and materials.
The artwork was displayed at the Byford Village Shopping Centre foyer in early September 2024, with the Member for Darling Range Hugh Jones MLA officially opening the exhibition.
