Armadale Mental Health Emergency Centre
The Armadale Mental Health Emergency Centre (MHEC) will enhance mental health service delivery across the South-East corridor.
The centre will provide care for voluntary patients through a dedicated mental health short-stay unit.
Its model of care is designed to facilitate the timely transfer of suitable voluntary mental health, alcohol and other drugs (AOD), and toxicology presentations from the Emergency Department (ED) to a purpose-built, well-resourced and low-stimulus environment.
