Byford Health Hub

About the project
Construction has started on the Byford Health Hub, which will open in 2027.
It is an important infrastructure project for the local community, allowing people to access specialist health and community-based care closer to home.
The Hub will provide a single-entry point for families and individuals in the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale and surrounding region with access to a range of primary care, community, social and specialist health services in one convenient location in Bushman Glade, behind the Coles supermarket near the new train station.
It provides a unique opportunity to shape a shared approach to integrating health and social services to positively impact the health and wellbeing of the community.
Service providers will be a mix of private and not-for-profit, in conjunction with a comprehensive range of on-site outpatient services provided by WA Health. East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) is coordinating the program planning, development and commissioning, with advice from clinicians, Traditional Owners and the local community. In 2026, construction has started on the Hub, with the tender awarded to PS Structures Pty Ltd. Milestones
